about

I believe that fully engaging in procuring, cooking, and enjoying what we eat can be life-changing.

Join me as I amass a collection of recipes -- accessible, healthful, and tasty -- which will form the foundation of a series of workshops aimed at empowering disadvantaged young people to take control of what they eat and, ultimately, recognize their own potential.

I'm twenty-eight. I'm married to a handsome food scientist. We rescued two cats, Squeak and Squish.

I'm passionate about a whole slew of things: family history, marveling at wicked awesome historic architecture, photographing beauty, blogging about my feelings, adopting a daily practice of yoga and meditation, and eating quiche of any flavor.

I'm writing a dissertation on early American women's legacies. And figuring out my next step.
